Hello!! I’m Cherie!

Welcome to my own little photography wonderland! This year will mark 10 whole years of photographing families and newborns! What can I say, this is truly a dream job that quite literally found me!

I’m a Huntington Beach girl who LOVES the beach!! I honestly can’t imagine living anywhere else! I’m drawn to nature and the water. Nothing makes me happier than traveling with my family… My dream would be to travel all around the world pursuing photography.

I Love: everything about motherhood, Starbucks, Sunsets, Travel YouTubers, Traveling, Hiking and Travel excursions like white water rafting!

My photography style is golden light- airy, natural and true to color. The photography world is always changing but I’ve tried to keep my style consistent and natural.

During Spring… Fall dates and locations are posted- this is that time where I can feel around and see what changes to make… sometimes what’s “better” isn’t necessarily convenient. 🫠For example less crowded weekdays in popular beaches like Laguna or scheduling in September vs end of November 🤪. This year I only have Christmas Minis in November. I was going to wait to post those…but now that my regulars have had an opportunity to book… Christmas Minis are officially available on the link to book!

Sharing these to show how the outfit changes make a difference for senior photos. I like that the jeans(or shorts) make it easier to move around…. Lay on ur stomach etc..Yet..I like the long dress because it looks more formal and boho beach style… the short dress is easier for the water shots and cowboy boots!

Ahh I’m excited that Fall sessions will be longer this year! Some places like Crystal Cove have amazing views from the cliffs and from beach… but I’m usually limited to one spot with the mini sessions.

Booking link is in my bio. Location is chosen by the first family to reserve—then set for that date. Senior Wednesdays!!
For the month of April I`ll be offering Senior Session at sunset on Wednesdays!
Important!!! Location- is up to the first family that books that date! Must be within 15 miles from HB, with Laguna Beach being the furthest option.

If you can only do weekends, I have 1 weekend available before summer and that date is in the link also!

Early in my photography career, I had babies/toddlers… so I understood the quest for the perfect smile. That’s why I offered sessions that catered more towards holiday cards and mini sessions.

But over the years my perspective has changed. Especially this past year.

Now I appreciate the moments that are less posed, less rushed, and a little more crazy. The laughter, the running, the personalities that show up when kids are free to just be themselves is priceless. It’s hard to explain… but being in this field while watching your oldest turn into an adult gives you a new appreciation for the chaos we’re usually trying so hard to calm. 🥺
