When we got Thunder (9 years ago) it was impossible to get a good photo with a puppy- even harder when we got the nut job Lightning… so we would video in hopes for a screen shot of them looking. Now these videos are a favorite tradition on Christmas morning! Merry Christmas 🎄

I’ve been dying to edit this session- this sky was unreal! This session was originally a mini session that we had to reschedule due to rain. Then it was supposed to rain on the rescheduled date… which it did that morning… and then left us with the most amazing sky.

I have 2 sessions left to edit… and then I’m officially done editing until January! I had 85 families this year! Wow! Truly soooo overwhelmed with gratitude for all the families that have come to me to capture their family photos❤️. Throughout the years I’ve learned so much, but this year reminded me that my best work will never be rushed… it will never reach it’s potential with short sessions and really made me appreciate the clients who feel like family! There’s something so intimate about family photography especially when you’ve been there for maternity, newborn and then 9+ years later. A huge thank you to everyone this season for their patience, while I had back to back emergencies towards the end of the season!

This evening was magic…!! I love my job!! Dolphins were literally jumping in the background during this session and we ended the night chasing the birds. This might have been my last beach session of 2025 which is always bitter sweet. I don’t want it to end 🎄
